As a result of sexual abuse from her father at the age of one, Beth suffered from a rare disorder called Reactive Attachment Disorder. The girl, along with another boy, are adopted by a man and his wife. While both children seem normal on the outside, the little girl shows sudden outburst of extreme and psychotic violence, such as a longing to "stab" and inject "pins" into her brother and the parents.
